Wild Symbols

  • Wild symbols can appear on any reel during the base game only.
  • They substitute for all paying symbols on the reels.
  • Wilds pay the same amount as the highest value symbol in the game.

Scatter Symbols

  • Scatter symbols can be found on all five reels.
  • Landing 2 Scatters triggers the Broadside Bonus feature.
  • Landing 3 Scatters awards access to the Hold and Win feature.
  • When the Hold and Win feature starts, Scatters become Flag symbols.

Hold and Win Feature

  • The feature begins with 3 spins, and the 3 triggering Scatters become Flag symbols displaying random multipliers. All other symbols are removed.
  • Whenever a Flag or Crewmate lands, the number of remaining spins resets to 3.
  • If a reel is filled with symbols, a 5-high bonus reel appears on the right side of the ship. If a second reel is filled, another 5-high bonus reel appears on the left; a maximum of two bonus reels can be added.
  • The Crewmates, which are the Captain, Parrot, 1st Mate, Shooter, and Grog Boy, each have their own effects:
    • Captain: Appears with a multiplier between 1 and 10. The Captain adds the sum of all new values on the board to its own value, then doubles the multiplier value of a random number of symbols, which can include the same symbol more than once.
    • Parrot: Appears with a multiplier between 1 and 10 and adds this value to all other symbols on the board.
    • 1st Mate: Appears with a multiplier between 1 and 10, then adds the total value of all other symbols currently on the board to its own multiplier.
    • Shooter: Appears with a multiplier between 1 and 10 and doubles the value of a random selection of symbols, possibly affecting the same symbol multiple times.
    • Grog Boy: Appears with a multiplier between 1 and 10 and brings 1 to 4 bottles of rum. Each bottle of rum reactivates all previously used special symbols (except other Grog Boys) on the board the indicated number of times.
  • Filling the entire board with symbols awards an additional 500x stake multiplier, after which the Hold and Win feature concludes.

Broadside Bonus Feature

  • The Broadside Bonus is triggered by landing 2 Scatters.
  • The feature begins with 5 cannonballs, which are fired each round to destroy crates, revealing chests containing stake multipliers, Skull symbols, or additional cannonballs.
  • Uncovering extra cannonballs awards another round with 5 new cannon shots.
  • Revealing a Skull symbol causes all chest multipliers to double after the cannon finishes firing for the current round.
  • When a reel fills with symbols, a 5-high bonus reel appears on the right side of the ship. If it happens again, a similar reel appears on the left. A maximum of two bonus reels can be awarded.
  • Destroying all crates grants an added 100x stake multiplier to the total win and ends the Broadside Bonus.
