Special Features and Symbols

  • Mega Symbols: During play, mega symbols can appear in various sizes, ranging from 2x2 up to 7x7. Each mega symbol is assigned a cluster value up to 13, affecting the payout. Mega symbols count as a single symbol for cluster wins, but their cluster value dictates the total win. When a mega symbol forms part of a winning cluster, it leaves a WILD symbol on the grid. If there isn't enough space for a mega symbol to fall, it will fill available spaces with 1x1 versions that do not carry a cluster value.
  • Quantum Wilds: At random on non-winning rounds, between 5 and 10 QUANTUM WILDS may appear on the grid. These, along with GARGANTOON WILDS, substitute for all other symbols to help form winning clusters.
  • The Quantumeter: Each winning symbol adds a charge to the QUANTUMETER, with mega symbols contributing their full cluster value. The QUANTUMETER can collect up to 100 charges, progressing through four levels:
    • 25 charges: DISINTEGRATION — removes all instances of four randomly selected symbols.
    • 50 charges: METAMORPHOSIS — transforms every instance of one symbol, including mega symbols, into another symbol.
    • 75 charges: RADIATION — randomly adds 0–4 mega symbols and 2–5 QUANTUM WILDS to the grid.
    • 100 charges: GARGANTOONZ! — after all cascades finish, triggers a two-step feature. First, all mega symbols become mega GARGANTOONZ (at least three appear), with an additional 2–4 1x1 GARGANTOONZ added. Mega GARGANTOONZ remain on the grid during wins. In the second step, these mega GARGANTOONZ break into 1x1 GARGANTOONZ, which can then be removed through standard winning clusters.
    When no further cascades occur, the next available feature on the QUANTUMETER activates. The meter becomes inactive once all features are played.

Game Mechanics and Structure

  • Grid and Reels: Gigantoonz is played on an 8x8 grid.
  • Winning Clusters: Wins are formed by creating clusters of six or more adjacent matching symbols, positioned either horizontally or vertically. Winning clusters are removed from the grid, with new symbols cascading down to fill the empty spaces. This process continues until no additional wins are achieved.
  • Cascade System: When a winning cluster is removed, the cascade mechanic allows for continuous opportunities to win within a single round, provided new clusters are formed after each drop.
  • Payouts: All wins from multiple clusters during a round are combined, as are winnings from special features and any applicable bonus rounds. Payouts occur at the conclusion of each game round, in accordance with the paytable and the displayed symbols.
  • Wild Symbols: WILDS can substitute for all other symbols and may be introduced via selected features or result from winning mega symbols.
  • Winning Rules: Only the highest win per winning symbol combination is paid. Wins pay when matching symbols are connected without breaks and can start from any point on the grid.
