  • Gemix features a cascading 7x7 grid where symbols fall into position and can form winning clusters.
  • Wins are awarded when five or more identical symbols are connected horizontally and/or vertically in a cluster.
  • All winning symbols are removed from the grid, allowing new symbols to drop in, potentially creating multiple consecutive wins during a single round.
  • Each win during a game round contributes to filling the crystal charge meter. When it is fully charged and no further wins are possible, a special Crystal Charge effect is triggered, activating one of the following at random:
    • Chain Lightning: Electric arcs connect two opposite corners, transforming hit symbols into one of the corner symbols.
    • Light Beam: Vertical and horizontal beams transform all symbols in a selected row and column into other symbols.
    • Crystal Warp: All symbols matching a selected symbol are warped into different symbols.
    • Nova Blast: A chosen symbol explodes, removing adjacent symbols and creating a core made up of the same symbol.
  • The crystal charge meter can become Super Charged if additional wins occur after the initial charge. If achieved, all wins from the round—both previous and subsequent—receive a 3x multiplier. Super Charge may trigger only once per round.
  • Gemix includes multiple worlds, each with three unique patterns to clear. Clearing patterns involves achieving wins on highlighted grid positions. Completing all three patterns in a world advances you to the next world and awards a World Bonus, which increases with any win during the round.
  • Every world introduces a distinctive wild symbol that appears on non-winning rounds and substitutes for any regular symbol to help create wins:
    • Miner’s World Wild: Up to 10 wilds can drop from above, each replacing a regular symbol in random grid positions.
    • Princess’ World Wild: A wild symbol starts at an edge and spreads along adjacent symbols toward another edge
    • Wizard’s World Wild: Up to 8 sticky wilds can appear and remain fixed in place for one round, even if included in a win or when symbols below are removed. Sticky wilds last until the round ends or until a Crystal Charge is triggered.

Gameplay and Mechanics

  • Gemix is a video slot by Play'n GO, played on a 7-reel grid with 20 paylines.
