Powergrid Feature
The Powergrid Feature is triggered during Free Games by the appearance of at least 1 scattered PowerUpball symbol. Each activation increases the grid size progressively: beginning at 5x5, moving to 6x6, then 7x7, and finally reaching 8x8. Once the 8x8 grid is in use, PowerUpball symbols will no longer appear.
Free Games
Free Games are initiated when 3 or more scattered Bonusball symbols appear in the Base Game after cascades have stopped. Free Games commence on a 5x5 grid. Each activation of the Powergrid Feature during Free Games increases the grid size, as follows:
- Free Games begin on a 5x5 grid.
- After the Powergrid Feature is triggered, the next Free Game is played on a 6x6 grid.
- Subsequent Powergrid activation moves the next Free Game to a 7x7 grid.
- Another Powergrid expansion results in an 8x8 grid.
On the 8x8 grid, PowerUpball symbols do not appear. Free Games on the 8x8 grid continue until one or more clusters are formed; once a cascade occurs on this grid size, the feature concludes. Free Games are played using the bet that was active when the feature was triggered.
Scatter Wins
Scatter wins pay in any position. Only the highest scatter win is added to the cluster win. Scatter wins are multiplied by the total wager.
Game Mechanics
Clusters and Cluster Wins
Clusters are formed when 5 or more of the same symbol are linked adjacently in either a horizontal or vertical direction. Diagonal connections do not count unless they are directly joined by matching symbols horizontally or vertically. Wins for clusters depend on the number of symbols in the cluster, and only the highest win is paid for each cluster. All cluster wins are multiplied by the total bet.
Bonusball and PowerUpball symbols are excluded from forming clusters. Wins from different clusters are combined for the total payout.
Cascades
Whenever clusters, as defined in the paytable, are created on the grid, cascades are triggered. Winning clusters are removed from the grid, and their payouts are displayed in the 'Winnings' panel. Symbols situated above the removed clusters drop down to fill the empty spaces, and new symbols also fall in to occupy any remaining gaps. The grid is then reevaluated for the formation of additional clusters. Cascades continue consecutively until no more clusters are present.
